Shala Offerings

Our shala offers practices dedicated to self-introspection, deep rest and connection to community.

Kirtan

Kirtan is the chanting of devotional mantras in community. Deeply rooted within the traditions of Bhakti Yoga, kirtan gives us an opportunity to connect more deeply to ourselves and others. It is said that through engaging in kirtan, we are able to slowly but inevitably loosen the knots within our spiritual heart.

Mantra is the bridge which allows us to connect more deeply to our divine selves; kirtan is the bridge that unites us with our spiritual community.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra is a completely guided meditation which allows us to deeply rest in a state between sleep and wakefulness. It is practiced lying down in savasana position with additional props provided.

This is also an accessible meditation for anyone with limited mobility or issues with traditional sitting meditations.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a movement practice which places a focus on slowness, relaxation and compassion for the body. This allows us the space to explore what happens when we give ourselves the time and space to breathe.

This is an accessible yoga practice supported by props which can be adapted to include practitioners of different abilities and experience level.

Mythic Flow

Mythic Flow integrates the stories & practices of yoga in a 90 minute Vinyasa class. Each class begins with storytelling about a hero or heroine and how we can bring the wisdom of these stories to our yoga practice in a meaningful way.

This class is open level and welcomes beginning practitioners as well as intermediate practitioners.

Hatha Flow

Hatha flow allows oneself to interlace the breath, movement and stillness. Moving through dynamic flows and holding the pose longer to allow time for the mind to settle, and the effects of the asana to be felt. As we practice the connection of the breath and movement, it allows us cultivate awareness to the present, the body and the mind.

This class is open level but is recommended for beginning practitioners looking to build their asana foundations.

Sound Journey

This class starts with few minutes of gentle movement to land into the body. It then finishes with a sound bath with Himalayan bowls to promote relaxation and balance.

The class is appropriate for all levels of experience and mobility.
